The movie version of the NHK drama “Time Scoop Hunter” has announced its national roadshow release across a variety of movie theatres,
including the screening at Shinjuku Piccadilly on August 31, 2013.
Time Scoop Corporation is an organization that uses Time Scoop Technology to record videos of people’s lifestyles in different periods in the past.
The movie is set in Azuchi Castle, a famous landmark known as the Castle of Illusion.
The castle was originally built by Oda Nobunaga as a point of unification for the whole country,
but it burned down in a mysterious fire only three years after its completion. Sawajima (Jun Kaname)’s team takes on the challenge of solving the mystery of the burning of Azuchi Castle,
a puzzling event that still remains unsolved in the history of Japan. In 2013,
“Time Scoop Hunter” will grow in scale and warp itself onto the big screen!
